wow!

It's been over a year, I guess I'm not very good at this.   Life is busy!! but so is yours.

We have just about survived the first year of Jr. high!  Lots learned, mostly organizational techniques... but mostly I've re-learned what a fabulously great kid I've got!! She is outgoing and sure of herself, but taking life somewhat cautiously as she learns about growing up and grown up things.  As she tries new adventures, some where she soars, and others are more uncomfortable.

I am sooooooooo PROUD   of the young lady she is becoming!!

Here we go

Well, this should be interesting.  This is my first blog, my first post.  I'm hoping for at least the next year to simply share my views of the world around me.  I think I was inspired by my friend Nicole (she doesn't even realize it).  I've been following her on Twitter, and reading her blogs.  What a neat way to see the world through someone elses eyes.  To get a new perspective on the everyday.  You may not agree with everything I see, but I will be open-minded enough to look though your eyes, if you will do the same for me.

Today, someone changed my perspective with a simple prayer.  Simple to say, NOT simple to live! Hopefully, God will give me grace and yet stretch me at the same time.  I'm always afraid of asking Him to improve me, because I know it just might be hard, uncomfortable, or even painful.  So here I go...each morning:
                             
                                        "Lord, make a difference in me so I                can make a difference in the world."
